In the last match, I explained with reasons why I picked certain players.The contests went really well for me. I believe it would have gone well for you as well.
Today, we are gonna feature the fantasy XI segment for the game between MI and KKR. Yes, KKR also knocked out, and MI also knocked out.
If you are thinking about what is up for grabs? The outlying chances of whether they can end up with 14 points.
Obviously, a resurgent Mumbai and a low on confidence KKR. So, that will have a great impact. We should definitely have these things in our mind while picking our fantasy team.
This game will take place in DY Patil Stadium at the back of CSK vs Delhi Capitals.They will play on one of the corner wickets and so, they will have a short boundary.
To be honest, today’s team selection is going to be straightforward. I have taken only 1 or 2 tough calls.
Obviously, I told you already about resurgent Mumbai. So, I have selected 7 from Mumbai and 4 from KKR.
I might make a last-minute selection depending on the playing XI. So, I might make those changes.
As usual, I will give you the percentages of popular picks. Only one wicket-keeper and 95% of people have picked Ishan Kishan. That is a no-brainer.
Will they drop Aaron Finch and play Sam Billings?
I am not so sure. I feel they will give an entire season run for Aaron Finch.And will they play Indrajith or will they bring back Sheldon Jackson? They gave three games to Indrajith at the top.That combination didn’t work and so, will they drop him? Will they give another go to Venkatesh Iyer?
We will wait and see. Will I select Venkatesh Iyer if he is back in the playing XI? Maybe not.When it comes to batting, Tilak Varma has been a stock-standard pick. Almost 70% of the people have picked Tilak Varma.
He is up for grabs since he is available for 9.5 credits. He is consistently scoring 30-40 every game.Shreyas Iyer has been picked by 90% of people. Very surprising that Suryakumar Yadav has been picked by only 84% of people.
If you ask me, 100% of them have to pick him. Nitish Rana has been picked by 45% of people.
Due to his classy knock in the last game, Rohit Sharma has been picked by 70% of people. And KKR-Rohit Sharma is a love affair, guys. You can’t leave him out.
Rohit Sharma will be picked as captain by many of them. We will know about that only after the game is over.
And obviously, Tim David. He has started finishing games really well. I feel like he is a dark horse for the day.
Especially since KKR has conceded so many runs at the death. So, Tim David will be someone whom we can definitely bank on.He has been striking them cleanly in the last 2 to 3 games.
And when it comes to all-rounders, they might play in the same square that was used for the previous game since they might not have had the time to prepare a new pitch.So, my thought process is that spinners might have an effect on the game. So, Sunil Narine will be a high-value pick.
Andre Russell has been picked by 93% of the people. Sunil Narine has been picked by only 65% of the people.We will have to wait and watch whether they give a go for Varun Chakravarthy or will they keep playing Anukul Roy.
Daniel Sams has been picked by 40% of the people.Kieron Pollard has been picked by 35% of people.When it comes to bowling, Umesh Yadav has been picked by only 38% of people.Tim Southee has been backed by 81% of people.M Ashwin has been picked by 61% of people.
I feel like they will give a go to Pat Cummins in this game.Jasprit Bumrah has been picked by 49% of people. But he is a star and a bank. So, you can always gamble on him is my opinion.

As I already said, I have gone with a 7-4 combination in favor of MI.
1 wicket-keeper, 3 all-rounders, 4 batsmen, and 3 bowlers.Umesh Yadav is not picked by many because of his injury status. He didn't play the last game and so, people have not picked him for this game.
But if he is going to play, he is a straightaway pick, guys.For me, it's either Tim Southee or Umesh Yadav. If Umesh Yadav is in the playing XI, I will swap him with Tim Southee.For now, I have gone with Tim Southee.And if Pat Cummins plays this game, he will get bounce on this DY Patil surface.
Who will I leave out if Pat Cummins plays? Most probably, it has to be Jasprit Bumrah. But it will be a very tough call.Anyway, I will say my XI for the game. Ishan Kishan is my wicket-keeper.
I thought of picking him as my captain or vice-captain as well.But then thought of going with Rohit Sharma as my captain since the game is against KKR.My first batsman and captain will be Rohit Sharma.
Suryakumar Yadav is my second batsman. Shreyas Iyer, captain of KKR, will be my vice-captain of the day. Tilak Varma will be my 4th batsman.3 all-rounders: Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, and Daniel Sams.You might wonder why have I picked Daniel Sams? Kieron Pollard hasn't scored runs and doesn't look in his elements this season.
Rohit Sharma is backing Daniel Sams at the death overs and so, he might pick a few wickets.And he will be high on confidence.And he closed out the last game really well defending 9 runs in the last over.3 bowlers: Tim Southee, Jasprit Bumrah, and Murugan Ashwin.You might ask whether I picked Murugan Ashwin just because he is from my state. But NO.
If the pitch offers some spin, he will definitely pick one or two wickets.Maybe more also. He bowled really well in the last game against KKR in CCI.
I am looking forward to M Ashwin's performance in this game.
This is my team. As I said, if Umesh Yadav is playing, I will replace Tim Southee with him.
If Pat Cummins is playing, I might think whether to go with Jasprit Bumrah or Pat Cummins but since Jasprit Bumrah is my personal favorite, I will go with him.And he is a champion, guys. So he will be back to form and pick wickets.
Mumbai on resurgence and so, picking many players from Mumbai is the right decision in my opinion.They will be high on confidence. So, this is my team.
